About the Artist:
Nina Bolen, resides in East Texas with her husband, who is also an artist.
At a very young age she started working with exotic animals, and by age 16 ran a full non-profit animal rescue. Her love for capturing these animals in art really began at the age of 15, when she began to sell her artwork professionally at art fairs and in galleries.
She has had artwork published in both books and magazines, and is international known.
Nina has become best know for her whimsical fantasy artwork of dragons and Gryphons, and also her ability to do realistic animal art. She has also
won awards for her one-of-a-kind artwork.
Though Nina did study fine art at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, she considers herself largely a self-taught artist.
Today she sell mostly online with Etsy & on E-bay. Items like, needle felted plush, artist bears, custom plush, OOAK (one-of-a-kind) sculptures, ATC/ACEOs and fantasy art.
She is also available for free-lance illustrations, book covers and original designs.
